
Gjøvik municipality is facing one of the most exciting development periods in water and wastewater for many years. We will be building a new backup waterworks at Biri, upgrading treatment plants, replacing water and wastewater pipes and strengthening our work with stormwater, operations and emergency preparedness. The master plan for water and wastewater has been adopted - and the financial framework is in place.
Now we are looking for a confident and development-oriented manager who wants to help realize the plans.
This is a key role with great social responsibility. As a water and wastewater manager, you will have a central position in the development of critical infrastructure that affects both residents and businesses - every single day.
About the positionYou will have overall responsibility for water and wastewater services in the municipality, with professional, personnel and financial responsibility for a business with approximately 30 employees. The business is part of technical operations, and you will be part of a competent and interdisciplinary management environment.
You will follow up goals and measures in the water and wastewater master plan, and work closely with the development department in the implementation of projects. The role also involves case preparation and dialogue with political leadership.
