Biri Care Center was built in 2021 and is a beautiful building with modern technology. The care center has premises for nursing homes, housing collectives, adapted services, home services and day activity offers for the elderly. There is also a café that is open to everyone - a place to create good meeting places in the local community. Biri nursing home consists of 16 places for patients in somatic long-term care. It is a business with 16 full-time equivalents and has about 50 employees, including permanent and temporary staff.Night shifts at Biri nursing home mainly work inside the nursing home ward. There is a collaboration with all night guards associated with Biri care center. At Biri nursing home we have a good and inclusive working environment. We want an environment with a high degree of cooperation, good humor and expertise where we find solutions for the benefit of our patients and users of the night service. The position is 62.44% permanent night, with currently work every 3rd weekend. Tasks:
  • Protect the patient's needs and rights in collaboration with the patient and relatives.
  • Documentation in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.
  • Nursing procedures and tasks.
  • Medication management in accordance with current procedures.
  • Guidance and teaching to colleagues/pupils/students as needed.
  • Shift responsibilities and shifts of responsibility that involve coordination of tasks/staff resources and overall nursing responsibility across the care center's departments.
Qualifications:
  • Approved authorization as a nurse.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, will be emphasized in relation to the user group.
  • It is a prerequisite with commitment and interest in caring for people in need of close care and care in a long-term perspective.
  • Independent in work tasks
  • General ICT knowledge.
  • Initiative and interest in professional development. Openness to testing new ways of working.
  • Personal suitability and relevant work experience will be emphasized.
  • Requirement for approved police certificate.
