
Haugtun Care Center is located in the center of Gjøvik and consists of four nursing home departments in addition to home services and adapted services. The care center is also a base for Gjøvik municipality's own nursing home doctors.
The night position is located on the 3rd floor which consists of two departments, 3AB and 3CD.
Department 3AB is a short-term department with 6 places for specialized rehabilitation and 6 places for palliative care. 3CD consists of 16 short-term places and 4 municipal acute inpatient places.
The night shifts at Haugtun Care Center work together in a team consisting of 2 nurses on the 3rd floor and 1 ambulatory nurse and 2 skilled workers on the 2nd floor. This position has its main responsibility on the 3rd floor and rotates 6 weeks on the palliative unit / rehab and 6 weeks on the somatic short-term ward with KAD.
Work tasks:Maintenance of patients' needs and rights in collaboration with patients and relatives.
Nursing, nursing and care tasks
Nursing technical tasks and sampling
Responsibility for inquiries to the emergency room/AMK
Follow up tasks via patient boards
Comply with procedures in accordance with. patient safety
Documentation in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines
Seek advice/assistance and guidance when needed
Contribute to a good working environment
Authorization as a nurse. Preferably with relevant further education
Interest and commitment to the relevant disciplines
Desirable with knowledge of relief of troublesome symptoms and nursing at the end of life
Very good oral and written presentation in Norwegian is required, as well as computer skills
Interest in and preferably experience with welfare technology

Requirement for approved police certificate
