The Biri Care Center was built in 2021 and is a beautiful building equipped with modern technology. The care center houses a nursing home, a shared living community, specialized services, home care services, and day activity programs for seniors. There is also a café open to everyone—a place designed to foster a sense of community in the local area. Biri Nursing Home consists of 16 beds for patients in the long-term somatic care unit. The facility has 16 full-time equivalents and employs approximately 50 staff members, including permanent employees and temporary staff.Night shift workers at Biri Nursing Home primarily work within the nursing home unit. There is a collaborative effort involving all night shift staff affiliated with Biri Care Center. At Biri Nursing Home, we have a positive and inclusive work environment. The position is a 62.44% permanent night shift role, currently requiring work every third weekend. Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the patient’s needs and rights are met in collaboration with the patient and their family.
  • Documentation in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Nursing procedures and tasks.
  • Medication management in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to colleagues, trainees, and students as needed.
  • On-call duties and shift leadership responsibilities, which involve coordinating tasks and personnel resources, as well as overall nursing responsibility across the care center’s departments.
Qualifications:
  • Valid nursing license.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, will be emphasized in relation to the patient population.
  • A commitment to and interest in caring for individuals who require close care and support over the long term is essential.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • General ICT skills.
  • Initiative and interest in professional development. Openness to trying out new ways of working.
  • Personal suitability and relevant work experience will be emphasized.
  • A valid police clearance certificate is required.
