
Haugtun care center is located in the center of Gjøvik and consists of four nursing home departments in addition to home services and adapted services. The care center is also a base for Gjøvik municipality's own nursing home doctors.
Ward 3AB is a short-term ward with 6 places for specialized rehabilitation and 6 places for palliative care.
Job description:The work tasks at the unit are varied and exciting with the main focus on nursing, user participation, interdisciplinary cooperation, work with relatives, medication management, rehabilitation, everyday coping, facilitation and quality of life.
The tasks are in accordance with the job description nurse and consist of the following:
Patient responsible nurse for one or more patients in collaboration with other employees
Maintenance of patients' needs and rights in interdisciplinary collaboration with patients, relatives and other partners
Nursing, nursing and care tasks
Responsibility for doctor's visits and other inquiries to the doctor/emergency room
Follow up tasks in accordance with. patient pathway
Update and follow up tasks via patient boards
Comply with procedures in accordance with. patient confidentiality
Responsibility for meeting management and participation
Documentation in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines
Responsibility for security
Supervision/training of employees and students
Contribute to a good working environment
Seek advice/assistance and guidance when needed
Responsibility for self-development and innovation in the field and in the work
Stay professionally updated
Authorization as a nurse
Further education in rehabilitation or other relevant further education is desirable
Interest and commitment to the field of rehabilitation is required. Experience in the field is desirable
Personal suitability is strongly emphasized
Very good oral and written presentation in Norwegian is required, as well as computer skills
Interest in and preferably experience with welfare technology
In addition, we want an empathetic and pleasant colleague with good attitudes to working life. Preferably a colleague who can take the initiative, be proactive, think long-term, be neat and structured, be able to work independently but also be a good collaborative partner
An approved police certificate is required
A permanent position in 100% from 01.08.2026 or by agreement
