Description of the workplace:

Biri Bokollektiv is part of Biri Care Center. The book collective provides services to people with dementia, and has 16 places. The building has modern technology, which will allow staff to customize services around the individual beober. We have beautiful outdoor areas, and a nice sensory garden that helps to promote activity and well-being.

Biri Care Center was established in 2021. Biri Care Center is a beautiful building with modern premises, and with its rural location, it is suitable for staff, residents and visitors.

We want an environment with good cooperation, focus on the profession and where we together find solutions for the benefit of our residents.

Work tasks:
  • Protect the residents' needs and rights in collaboration with the residents themselves and relatives
  • Strive for good cooperation with residents, relatives and colleagues
  • Documentation according to current legislation and guidelines
  • Medication management according to current procedures
  • Professional nursing procedures
  • Guidance/training of colleagues and students when needed
  • Initiative and interest in professional development
  • Can be assigned duty responsibility and responsibility shifts that involve coordination of work tasks/personnel resources, as well as overall nursing responsibility across the care center's departments
Qualifications:
  • Approved authorization as a nurse
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, will be emphasized in relation to the user group
  • Experience in dementia care is desirable, as well as an interest in the development of services for people with dementia and / or residents in need of care and care in a long-term perspective
  • Personal suitability and relevant work experience will be emphasized
  • General ICT skills
  • Requirement for approved police certificate
