Description of place of work:

We are looking for a social worker / nurse / environmental therapist currently employed in Sørbyen department 3 adapted services.

Sørbyen 3 consists of an activity center for people with various disabilities, as well as a 24-hour relief unit. The respite care unit offers respite care in an institution on a rolling basis for families with children and young people with various disabilities.

Tasks:
  • Activation, facilitation, practical assistance and training in everyday life (meals, ADL skills, care and nursing, health care)
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with other agencies and partners
  • Caregiver collaboration
  • Contact person and coordinator for individual plan
  • Turnus work with day and evening shifts as well as work every 3.
  • Facilitate a meaningful everyday life with targeted environmental work and active care with a focus on self-determination, coping and habilitation
  • Maintain user participation and targeted environmental work
  • Guidance and training for colleagues, students and pupils
  • Documentation in accordance with applicable legislation, regulations and guidelines
  • Preparation of procedures and updating of action plans
  • Drug management (for social workers and nurses)
  • Contribute to a positive working environment
Qualifications:
  • Authorization as a social worker/nurse
  • Other relevant 3-year education is considered
  • Competence in targeted environmental work and the Health and Care Services Act chap. 9 is preferred
  • Knowledge of autism, epilepsy and tube feeding is an advantage (training is provided)
  • Ability to handle changes and challenges, with independent assessments and decisions
  • Positive attitude to interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Promote professional development and create collective commitment
  • Personal suitability, innovation and flexibility are emphasized
  • Competence in the use of computer tools is necessary
