Description of the workplace:

Bjørnsveen middle school is located about 2.5 km north of Gjøvik city center with good access to outdoor areas. The school has 335 students and about 50 employees. The management currently consists of the principal and two inspectors. Bjørnsveen ungdomsskole is a school where all employees work daily to provide students with a safe and good school environment. We see each individual student and focus on Bjørnsveen being a school for everyone. We have a vacancy for a temporary position as a social worker from 01.08.26 to 31.07.27.

Tasks:
  • You will work with students with different needs, and will help to make the school day safe and good

  • You will be responsible for developing, preparing and implementing individual training measures for individual students

  • You will be responsible for guiding other employees around individual training measures

  • You will be part of the collaboration with external partners (eg specialist health service)

Qualifications:

  • Nurse with approved authorization. Applicants with other health and social three-year college education will be considered.

  • It is an advantage if you have knowledge of, and/or experience with, methodical environmental work and behavioral analytical work

  • Good written and oral skills

  • Personal suitability

  • Requirement for approved police certificate
