The operations are located at 6 care centers; Haugtun, Sørbyen, Nordbyen, Snertingdalen, Biri and Åslundmarka (Hunndalen) and contain both nursing home departments, book collectives and full-time care homes.

Tasks:

As an on-call temp, you can contribute with tasks such as:

  • Basic care (hygiene, dressing and nutrition)

  • Observation and assessment of patient/resident health status

  • Follow up on vital measurements, sampling and assist with health care after training

  • Follow up surveys, screenings and registrations (eg. drinking/diuresis, behavioral registration, patient safety).

  • Assist with mobilization, transfer and activation.

  • Practical assistance and support in daily activities

  • Contribute to a safe, active and meaningful environment for patients/residents

  • Documentation in line with current routines

  • Collaboration with colleagues, relatives and other professional groups

The work tasks will vary somewhat between nursing homes, group homes and care homes, and the tasks you can contribute with will depend on what kind of expertise and experience you have.

As an on-call substitute, you will be able to request available shifts when you are able to work and will also be asked for shifts when the employer has a need.

There is shift work with work both day, evening and night and with operation both on weekdays, weekends, holidays and vacations and there is a need for on-call temps on all types of shifts and periods throughout the year.

  • Who are undergoing health care education, health care professionals, nurses/nurse practitioners and others with relevant skills and/or experience who would like to work as an on-call substitute

  • Have a warm commitment to people with the ability to put patients/residents' needs in focus

  • Are flexible, responsible and collaborative

  • Contributes positively to the work environment

Requirements:
  • You must be over 18 years old.

  • Approved authorization is required for healthcare professionals.

  • You must have a good command of Norwegian, both spoken and written (min B2 level) and have good communication skills.

  • A police clearance certificate with no remarks must be presented.
