At Bjørnsveen Middle School, there are two full-time (100%) teaching positions available.

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills who is a confident and clear-communicating homeroom teacher and has a thoughtful approach to students, learning, and teaching.

The school is located 2.5 km north of downtown Gjøvik, with access to outdoor recreation areas. The school has approximately 320 students and approximately 50 staff members.

Qualifications:

• strong and relevant subject-specific teaching expertise for lower secondary school, primarily in mathematics and science
• flexible, development-oriented, and committed
• willingness to work in accordance with the municipality’s and the school’s core values
• strong collaboration skills
• personal suitability will be emphasized
• Responsibilities as a homeroom teacher must be expected

A valid police clearance certificate is required
