Facts about the position:

The surveying and geodata business currently has six employees. The business is organized under the sector community development.

We perform tasks within geodata, surveying, cadastral registration, sectioning, addressing, property tax and management of leasehold agreements.
We now have a vacancy for a 100% permanent position as a surveying engineer/land surveyor.

Tasks:
  • Execution of surveying transactions according to the Cadastral Act
  • For the position, work tasks are also intended within:
    • Geodata/GIS work
    • Matrikkelkel improvement/quality enhancement of the cadastre
    • Addressing
    • Sectioning
  • Advising residents, developers and businesses in connection with the above tasks
  • Other operational and development tasks at the unit
Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical education at engineering/bachelor's level, with specialization in land surveying/real estate
  • Approved cadastral surveyor or be willing to complete the necessary course to become one
  • Knowledge of the Cadastral Act, the Planning and Building Act and other relevant laws and standards in the field
  • Good GIS knowledge and good understanding of GIS and surveying systems
  • Good Norwegian language skills, oral and written
  • Driver's license class B

Desired requirements:

  • Experience from a similar function and work tasks
  • Experience from land surveying, from building and construction activities and / or transport / road projects / railways is desirable
  • Have a surveyor's certificate or are willing to supplement with courses / education to get it
