Gjøvik Municipality is seeking a clear-thinking and development-oriented operations manager for the Rambekk Wastewater Treatment Plant—a central facility that treats wastewater from approximately 90% of the municipality’s residents and constitutes an important part of our critical infrastructure. The facility also includes a regional sludge treatment plant that receives sludge from several municipalities in the region. The wastewater treatment plant is part of the Water and Wastewater Department, which has over 30 employees, 10 of whom are based at the treatment plant.
The water and wastewater sector is facing significant investments and modernization. New requirements for nitrogen removal entail expansions and renovations of the facility, and you will play a key role both in day-to-day operations and in the development of future wastewater solutions for Gjøvik and Vestre Toten.
