Hamarskolen opens doors to the world - and at Rollsløkken School we work every day to help our pupils develop life skills, curiosity and a love of learning.
Rollsløkken School is a traditional primary school that opened its doors in 1922. In the coming school year, we will have around 280 pupils and 45 employees divided between the school and SFO.

Our school is characterized by rich diversity - our pupils come from almost 50 different countries, and we have a large number of languages represented in our student body. This gives us a unique learning environment where cultural breadth, security and inclusion are central.

We are now looking for you who are a clear, friendly and active adult, and who have a professional certificate as a child and youth worker. With us, it is important that the adults create security, take the initiative, see what is needed in everyday life and contribute to play, activity and community.

Løkka-SFO has around 140 children. SFO has opening hours from 07.30-08.15 and from 13.15/13.30-16.30.

We have vacancies for 2 permanent positions of up to 40%.

Tasks

As a child and youth worker at Løkka-SFO, you will help create a safe, active and inclusive everyday life for the children.

The tasks will include:
● plan, implement and evaluate play and activities in SFO
● be a clear, friendly and safe adult in meeting with the children
● actively contribute to play, physical activity, creativity and social learning
● facilitate that all children experience belonging, mastery and inclusion
● follow up individual children and groups of children in play, meals, wardrobe and transitions
● work closely with colleagues at SFO and school, and contribute to good cooperation with parents

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:
● professional certificate as a children's and youth worker
● experience working with children
● good Norwegian skills, both oral and written
● good relationship skills
● understanding of children's different needs, conditions and forms of expression

It is desirable that you have experience from school, SFO, kindergarten or other work with children and young people.

Personal qualities

● understands that clear adults create security for the children
● has good situational understanding and sees what is needed in everyday life
● takes the initiative and contributes actively in the SFO everyday life
