Application due date 15 November 2026
Are you the one?

Would you like to build and lead Hamar’s new service office for health and well-being?

The Municipality of Hamar is undertaking a comprehensive overhaul of its health and well-being services. Through our new welfare model, we aim to create modern, sustainable, and more cohesive services, with new ways of working, clearer priorities, and better use of the municipality’s overall resources.

We are now establishing a new service office that will bring together the municipality’s professional staff for case management, coordination, and comprehensive assessments in the areas of health and well-being. We are seeking a leader who will help shape the office and further develop the way the municipality meets the needs of its residents.
This is a leadership position for someone who is motivated by building, developing, and achieving results through others. You will play a central role in bringing together professional teams, developing common working methods, and building a strong professional culture. Equal treatment, quality, good administrative practices, and sound prioritization will be central to ensuring that residents receive the right help at the right time and at the right level.

The Service Office will serve as a coordinating body between residents, the executive services, and other partners. As the manager, you will be responsible for setting the direction for the office’s organization, work processes, collaboration forums, and culture within the established goals and frameworks.

The position entails overall responsibility for staff, finances, professional matters, quality, and results. You will report to the municipal director of health and well-being and be part of the director’s management team.
