Lovisenberg kindergarten is a 3-section kindergarten located in rural surroundings with cultivated land, logging areas and homes in its vicinity.
We have good opportunities for all-round play both summer and winter. The nursery has a lavvo in its outdoor area that is in frequent use, and in the immediate vicinity there is a football pitch/ice rink and shelters.

Tasks
- Plan, implement, document and evaluate the educational work in the department
- Be part of the kindergarten's management team
- Create a safe and stimulating play and learning environment
- Active participation in play and activities with the children
- Lead the development and training of staff in the department
- Lead development work at department level

Qualifications
- Approved education as a kindergarten teacher
- For applicants with relevant education from countries other than Norway, approval of the education is required from the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training
- Good Norwegian knowledge both written and oral (minimum Norwegian test B level)
- Good professional knowledge and reflects on their own practice
Personal qualities
- You are able to communicate well with children, parents and colleagues
- You are able to put yourself in other people's shoes and see the importance of good relationships
- You must be good at leading and motivating staff in your department, as well as planning and organizing in an effective way
- You are flexible, solution-oriented and adapt based on situations and needs
- You have an appreciative manner, show presence and have children's best interests in focus
- Ability to see the individual child, but also the group as a whole
- Ability to facilitate children's play and desire to explore
- You love being outdoors in all weathers and seasons
- You have great work capacity and can cope with a hectic workday in the nursery
