Ward A is a long-term ward and provides services to patients who have a comprehensive and continuous need for help. The department is bright and cozy with a great view of Hamar. In department A, no working day is the same and here you get to use your professional expertise as a nurse / social worker

Hamar municipality has its own pay scale for nurses, care assistants and 3-year nurses with requirements for further specialization that provides NOK 35,000 above the guaranteed salary. 35,000 above the guaranteed salary under the main collective agreement.


Duties

  • Practice nursing to users in line with current requirements
  • Supervise, teach and inform users, relatives, colleagues and students
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration

Qualifications

  • Norwegian authorization as a nurse / specialist nurse, social worker / specialist nurse
  • Good ICT knowledge, preferably knowledge of Gerica
  • Good presentation skills, both written and oral Norwegian
  • Preferably experience in elderly care. A police certificate is required for everyone who provides services under the Health and Care Services Act §5-4. The certificate must be presented

Hamar municipality has a need for nurses / nursing assistants, and offers those who want to work and live in the municipality the opportunity to apply for a start-up loan for housing. To apply, you must have at least 50% permanent employment as a nurse or social worker, or have been offered a position and must accept it.
The start-up loan can only be used to buy a home in Hamar municipality. You do not need equity to get a start loan, and you can borrow 100% of the purchase price. The condition is that you must be able to service the loan and not be able to get a loan from a regular bank.

Common for employees of Hamar municipality:

  • Salary according to central and local agreements.
  • Hamar municipality is an IA company and prioritizes in-house rehabilitation work.
  • Reservations are made for internal redeployment due to rehabilitation work and redundancy.
  • Employees are employed by Hamar Municipality on the terms set out in laws, regulations and collective agreements, including membership of the pension scheme in accordance with applicable agreements.
  • Anyone who is appointed must provide confirmed information about tuberculosis conditions / tuberculin status and MRSA status on a separate form that is attached to the job offer.
