The Child Welfare Service is organized under the municipal department of education and child welfare. The service consists of four departments: Intake/Investigation, Interventions, Care, and Family. The service has 33 employees and has a one-year temporary position available starting September 1.

The temporary position has been created to free up time for other staff members to develop alternative work methods for investigating reports of children exposed to violence. The State Administrator has approved discretionary funds, and we are advertising this one-year temporary position. The possibility of extending the position will be considered. Qualified applicants will be invited for interviews in week 32.
