We are looking for a skilled and committed nurse for our long-term care department. With us, you will play a central role in ensuring that residents receive services of high professional quality, while contributing to an inclusive and supportive community of colleagues. The department has 28 long-term beds.

As a nurse with us, you work closely in an interdisciplinary and inclusive environment. The tasks are varied and sometimes complex, and require both professional strength, holistic understanding and the ability to find good solutions in collaboration with colleagues. This is a department where you get to use your expertise!

The position involves working day/evening and every 3rd weekend. If you start in a position with us and move to Hamar, you will have the opportunity to apply for a start-up loan to be able to buy a home in Hamar municipality. This allows you to borrow 100% of the purchase price without equity.

Hamar municipality has its own pay scale for nurses/protective nurses/specialist nurses/specialist nurses with night shifts, which is NOK 35,000 above the guaranteed salary. 35 000,- above the guaranteed salary according to the main collective agreement.

  • Nursing follow-up and overall patient responsibility

Qualifications

  • Norwegian authorization as a nurse/specialist nurse
  • Good presentation skills, both written and oral Norwegian
  • Master ICT tools, preferably experience with the Gerica system
  • Personal suitability
  • Valid work and residence permit
  • If you are applying as a specialist nurse, further education in geriatrics and/or palliation is desirable.

  • Hamar municipality has a need for nurses, and offers those who want to work and live in the municipality the opportunity to apply for a start-up loan for housing. To apply, you must have at least a 50% permanent position as a nurse, and or have been offered a position and must accept it.
    The start-up loan can only be used to buy a home in Hamar municipality. You do not need equity to get a start loan, and you can borrow 100% of the purchase price. The condition is that you must be able to service the loan and not be able to get a loan from a regular bank.
