This is a joint job posting where you can express your interest if you’d like to work as an on-call substitute teacher at a preschool in Hamar Municipality. If your application is of interest for an on-call substitute position, you will be contacted for an interview with the relevant director or the daycare administration.

Hamar Municipality has 17 daycare centers. We are looking for on-call substitutes who can be available on short notice for both short- and long-term substitute assignments when permanent staff are absent. Preschool teachers and child and youth workers will be given priority. You can read more about the preschools on the Hamar Municipality website - www.hamar.kommune.no

Your application will remain valid until June 30, 2027. Upon hiring, you must submit a valid police background check and a tuberculosis test result.


Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the educational work at the preschool
  • Facilitate positive play environments and a supportive learning environment
  • Contribute to effective collaboration with parents

Qualifications

We are seeking child and youth workers and preschool teachers, preferably with experience in a preschool setting. Assistants will be considered if there are not enough applicants with the required qualifications.
Norwegian language skills in accordance with the Kindergarten Act, Sections 27 and 28
