The Innlandet medical center has an available GP agreement with a list size of 1800 patients.

The medical center has 5 GPs, is organized as an AS, and is located in new
modern premises in the center of Hamar. Whoever takes over the GP home, undertakes to enter into the existing cooperation agreement with the other doctors.

The medical center has 8 skilled health secretaries who share 6.3 man-years. WebMed medical record system is used.

Hamar municipality has a total of 38 GPs divided into eight medical offices with a large proportion of doctors specializing in general medicine.

The municipality is a registered training center for LIS3 with supervision and ALIS grants. An increased basic grant is currently provided.

Tasks

• General practitioner for the patients on the list
• The doctor is also obliged to participate in the inter-municipal out-of-hours scheme. Hedmarken's inter-municipal out-of-hours service is well-functioning with, among other things, an out-of-hours service and an emergency ambulance.
• There is currently no municipal secondary position linked to the GP agreement, but municipal tasks of up to 7.5 hours a week can be imposed.

Qualifications

• Norwegian authorization as a doctor and approved LIS1.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian, both orally and in writing
• The applicant must be a specialist in general medicine, have started specialization or commit to starting specialization.
• Relevant experience from a GP practice is desirable
• Emphasis is placed on professional qualifications, commitment to being the patient's GP and to contributing to a community of practice.
  

Personal qualities

• Personal suitability and good collaborative skills will be emphasized
• High commitment to the field of general medicine and to being the patient's GP.
• A valid police certificate according to the Health and Care Services Act §5-4 must be presented before starting.
• Copies of diplomas and certificates must be attached to the application
