Adapted Services (TT) is a central part of Health and Well-being in the Municipality of Hamar. We provide services to residents at all stages of life—from children and youth to adults—with various needs related to disabilities.

With us, you’ll become part of a professional community that’s constantly evolving. TT currently consists of 16 adapted group homes, two respite care units, and a work and activity center. In addition, we provide services to people living in their own homes throughout the municipality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for leading, managing, developing, and operating the unit in line with overarching goals and guidelines
  • Facilitate systematic management and leadership, including quality assurance and continuous development of services
  • Ensure effective interdisciplinary collaboration, both within the organization and with external partners
  • Have overall responsibility for professional matters, finances, and personnel within their own area of responsibility
  • Ensure comprehensive, efficient, and sustainable operations and resource utilization within the unit
  • Actively participate in the service’s management team, with responsibility for planning, implementing, and further developing operations
  • Build strong relationships and foster constructive collaboration with employees, family members, volunteers, and other partners
  • Contribute to innovation and the development of services, and participate in relevant development and improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health and social sciences or education
  • Continuing education in management, or enrollment in a management training program
  • Relevant management experience, preferably from health and social care services
  • A good understanding of financial management and efficient operations
  • Strong digital skills and the ability to use relevant ICT tools
  • A valid work and residence permit
  • A driver’s license
