We have two vacant social worker positions and are looking for professionals who contribute to security, commitment and good quality in the services. It is desirable to have knowledge of targeted environmental work and behavioral analysis

Working hours and work tasks
The position is part of a rotation with long shifts every third weekend. The work tasks can sometimes be both physically and mentally demanding.

We offer

  • A separate salary ladder in Hamar municipality for nurses/nurse practitioners and 3-year-olds with requirements for further specialization who work shifts
    - NOK 35,000,- above the guaranteed salary in the main tariff agreement

Work tasks

  • Practical assistance and guidance to users
  • Targeted environmental work
  • Assume the role of primary contact and possibly coordinator

Qualifications

  • Nurse
  • Desirable with experience from working with people with disabilities
  • Knowledge and experience with targeted environmental work
  • Have good knowledge of challenging behavior and behavioral analysis
  • Knowledge of TKH, and be able to use this
  • Knowledge and knowledge of the Health and Care Services Act chap. 9 (coercion and force) and other relevant legislation
  • Experience and interest in guiding other colleagues in professional challenges
  • Experience with caregiver work
  • Experience from and/or knowledge of the municipal health service
  • Knowledge of welfare technology
  • Work and residence permit
  • Good ICT knowledge, preferably experience with the professional systems Gerica and EQS
  • Driver's license class B is required
  • Applicants are encouraged to have a good physical health to stand in the work tasks

  • Hamar municipality has a need for nurses / nurses, and offers those who want to work and live in the municipality the opportunity to apply for a start-up loan for housing. To apply, you must have at least 50% permanent employment as a nurse or social worker, or have been offered a position and must accept it.
    The start-up loan can only be used to buy a home in Hamar municipality. You do not need equity to get a start loan, and you can borrow 100% of the purchase price. The condition is that you must be able to service the loan and not be able to get a loan from a regular bank.
