The Hamar Intermunicipal Crisis and Competence Center is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified environmental therapist who wants to make a difference for people exposed to violence in close relationships.
We are entering an exciting phase of development. Starting January 1, 2027, we will be moving into new, modern facilities designed to meet the needs of the future. At the same time, we are expanding our services to include victims of violence who face additional challenges related to substance abuse and mental health, among other issues.
With us, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape and further develop our services in a professional environment committed to quality, inclusion, and continuous learning. All employees will undergo a comprehensive skills development program in collaboration with KoRus Øst, ensuring that we are as well-equipped as possible to address new tasks and serve new target groups.
We are also working purposefully to achieve the Regnbuefyrtårn quality certification, which underscores our ambition to offer safe, inclusive, and equitable services to everyone. Our values are safety, openness, and helping people help themselves.
The crisis center has 14 permanent employees, representing 11 full-time equivalents. Everyone works on a rotating shift schedule, except for the director. We have 9 partner municipalities, of which Hamar is the host municipality for the service. We are organized into 3 teams that work with children, adults, and an environmental team. Hamar Municipality is an IA-certified organization.
As a new employee, you will receive thorough training in the field and our specialized systems. You’ll become part of a work environment characterized by a high level of expertise, strong commitment, and genuine job satisfaction. We’re proud of our culture, which includes group activities such as yoga for staff and clients, and—not least—our traditional Friday get-togethers that foster camaraderie and well-being.
This is the position for you if you want to combine professional development with meaningful work and be part of a dedicated team that makes a difference in people’s lives every day.
Hamar Municipality has its own pay scale for registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, those with a 3-year degree, and those required to have further specialization who work rotating shifts, offering NOK 35,000 above the guaranteed wage in the main collective bargaining agreement.
