
The Department of Psychology is one of five departments at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences - Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences and has an engaging and dynamic academic environment with approximately 450 students and around 30 employees. The department is located at the Lillehammer campus. We currently offer a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master's degree in environmental psychology, as well as some courses in organizational psychology in other study programs.
With us you will find an active research environment with specialized research groups in environmental psychology, developmental and clinical psychology, as well as social psychology, work and organizational psychology. We have strong ambitions to further develop psychology as a discipline through practice-oriented teaching and research. In addition, we are now in an exciting development phase with the goal of establishing a professional study program in psychology.
We are now looking for a committed and skilled person for a position with a main focus on teaching and research in psychology. The employee will have a central role in the development, planning and implementation of teaching and research.
The position is permanent, 100%, with the main workplace in Lillehammer.
As part of our academic environment, you will have a varied working day. Your most important tasks will be:
Teaching is related to courses at bachelor's level and supervision of bachelor's theses. Teaching and supervision of the master's program in environmental psychology may also be relevant, depending on the needs of the department and the candidate's competence.

Documented practical pedagogical education and experience from teaching and supervision at university and university college level, cf. Regulations to the Universities and University Colleges Act. Applicants who are unable to document pedagogical competence at the time of appointment are obliged to complete the university's course in pedagogy or equivalent within two years of appointment.

The assessment of which candidate is best qualified is based on an overall assessment of education, experience and personal suitability and other qualification requirements as formulated in the advertisement, in addition to motivation for the position.
The position and duties must be performed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations for government employees, including the Act on Control of Exports of Strategic Goods, Services and Technology, etc. Candidates who, after assessment of the application and attachments, come into conflict with the criteria in the latter Act, may not take up the position.
