Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences - Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences is looking for an ambitious and inspiring head of department. The faculty has over 7,000 students and around 300 employees, with campuses in Lillehammer and Rena, in addition to educational offerings at the University College Center in Kongsvinger. Our ambition is to be a driving force in the development of knowledge and society - locally, nationally and internationally - through education, research, dissemination and innovation of high academic quality.
The Department of Organization, Leadership and Management currently consists of approximately 70 academic FTEs. The department offers year-long studies, bachelor's studies and master's studies in areas such as emergency preparedness and crisis management, management and digitization, organization and management, sport management and innovation, as well as continuing education in health management and process management. The department has a high and broad research activity within the subject areas.
The department is represented at the campuses Rena and Lillehammer and travel between the campuses must be expected. The main workplace can be Rena or Lillehammer.
The head of department has overall responsibility for the department and reports to the dean. As head of department, you are part of the faculty's management team and, as part of the faculty's management, are responsible for the faculty's activities and development. The faculty is in the process of evaluating the faculty structure and there may therefore be changes in the current organization.
The head of department position is a four-year fixed-term position with the possibility of re-employment up to two times (a total of up to 12 years). The position is 100%. Start date by agreement.
