The Department of Education currently has approx. 31 full-time equivalents with professional staff. The employees cover a number of subject areas that are oriented towards educational knowledge such as educational history, educational sociology, educational philosophy, educational policy development, educational psychology, media pedagogy, special education, counseling and guidance, as well as educational management.
The department has a wide-ranging study portfolio in pedagogy and special education with annual studies, bachelor's degree programs and master's degree programs in addition to further education.
The academic environment is characterized by high research activity and has a good academic community with great commitment to quality, and where you are expected to contribute to the development of a good working and learning environment. The department is located in Lillehammer and the positions will have a daily workplace at the campus in Lillehammer.
