About the unit

• The section ICT and documentation management is a common development, operation and support function that, among other things, is responsible for the county's ICT systems. More than 4,000 employees and approximately 13,000 students are connected in a common network at around 110 workplaces. The section has 50 employees, divided between ICT services, documentation management and services.
• The unit for ICT operations and delivery has standardized on modern and market-leading products.
  The unit has 13 permanent positions.
• The county council has a strong focus on the design and establishment of common system solutions. This includes everything from the procurement and implementation of new user systems to the establishment of new solutions for the operation of systems, servers and networks.

About the position

• 100% permanent position available from 01.06.2026
• some travel between locations must be expected
• the person appointed to the position will be placed in a position code depending on education and experience, cf. The unit has a place of work (Hamar or Lillehammer), but we can offer various forms of flexibility for those with the right skills

Tasks

• monitoring, maintenance of servers, storage solutions and security solutions
• operation of infrastructure and system solutions with documentation
• participation in projects

Qualification requirements

• relevant higher education as Bachelor
• minimum three years of relevant experience after graduation within the last four years

Desired qualifications

• good presentation skills both orally and in writing in Norwegian and English
• experience from larger ICT environments
• .environments
• experience with Windows server and or Linux products with emphasis on windows
• experience with operation and administration of databases, MSSQL
• experience with Microsoft System Center, Azure/Entra ID, Citrix, VMware or equivalent
• experience with monitoring and security solutions
• experience from ICT projects
• good understanding of information security
• knowledge of authentication and authorization and authorization solutions
• knowledge of ITIL as a framework
• relevant certifications
