We are seeking two dentists for full-time positions at Alvdal Dental Clinic to help develop the dental health services in Innlandet County. The staff at Alvdal Dental Clinic consists of 2 dentists, 1 dental hygienist, and 2 dental secretaries/assistants. A new, modern dental clinic has been built in Alvdal. For the time being, some travel to the Folldal Dental Clinic should be expected.

At our dental clinics, you’ll have the opportunity to grow as a dentist, with a wide range of professional challenges. Our staff treat all patient categories, from priority groups to private patients.

A stabilization allowance of NOK 87,272 per year is provided for a full-time (100%) position for dentists at Alvdal Dental Clinic. This allowance is provided until December 31, 2028, subject to a decision on continued funding.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a Norwegian license to practice as a dentist or are final-year students (provided you have passed your exams and obtained a valid Norwegian license to practice as a dentist by the start date).
  • Norwegian language skills at a minimum B2 level, both spoken and written
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Patient-centered approach.
  • Works well with others and can work independently.
  • Is a good colleague who will contribute to the practice’s development.

  • The appointment will be based on a comprehensive assessment of the interview, education, work experience, and references

About the Employer

Innlandet County Council is responsible for public dental health services in the county. We also treat adult, fee-paying patients.

The dental health service in Innlandet County Council has over 300 positions, distributed across 39 dental clinics in six districts. The County Dental Officer heads the entire service, and each district is led by its own Chief Dental Officer. The administration is located in the county administration building in Hamar.
