The Inland County Council, Dental Health Service, has vacancies for 8 x 100% permanent, newly created dental hygienist positions from 01.08.2026.
The Dental Health Service in the Inland County Council will strengthen the health promotion and preventive work for good dental health.
As a dental hygienist with us, you will be an important part of a team that works in new ways, with a particular focus on increased presence in the municipalities. You will also be part of a public health team that works closely with colleagues at the dental clinics.
You will combine ordinary dental hygienist duties at the dental clinic with significantly more time for outreach work.
Together, we strengthen health promotion work and increase awareness of oral health throughout the county.
We employ dental hygienists in the following dental health districts and dental clinics:
District 2: Hamar, Stange, Brumunddal, Moelv and Løten
District 5: Lillehammer, Øyer, Gausdal, Hov, Dokka, Sør-Aurdal, Valdres and Vang.
The clinics vary in size. The position may involve work at several of the clinics in the district, in addition to tasks in the municipalities.

Qualifications
We require
Applicants for permanent dental hygienist positions are expected to participate in the practice/supervisor function for dental hygienist students.
Courses in practice supervision are provided by the University of Innlandet, Department of Elverum.
The timing of the supervisor function and any training is agreed in collaboration with the head dentist.
