Are you looking for a varied work environment?

We are seeking a dentist for a temporary position at Brumunddal Dental Clinic to help develop the dental health services in Innlandet County. Duration of temporary position: September 1, 2026–August 31, 2027. The position is up to 100%, but applicants who wish to work a lower percentage are also encouraged to apply.

At Brumunddal Dental Clinic, the staff consists of 5.25 dentist positions, 2.5 dental hygienist positions, and 6.5 dental secretary/assistant positions.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a Norwegian license to practice as a dentist or are final-year students (provided you have passed your exams and obtained a valid Norwegian license to practice as a dentist by the start date).
  • Norwegian language skills equivalent to B2 level, both spoken and written
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Patient-centered approach.
  • Works well with others and can work independently.
  • Is a good colleague who will contribute to development.

Qualifications:

  • The appointment will be based on a comprehensive assessment of the interview, education, practical training, and experience
  • Personal suitability will be a decisive factor in the hiring decision

About the employer

Innlandet County Council is responsible for public dental health services in the county. We also treat adult, fee-paying patients.

The dental health service in Innlandet County Council has over 300 positions, distributed across 39 dental clinics in six districts. The County Dental Officer heads the entire service, and each district is led by its own Chief Dental Officer. The administration is located in the county administration building in Hamar.
