About the unit

Career Innlandet Valdres is part of the Career Innlandet and Adult Learning unit, and Innlandet County Council's focus on career guidance and adult learning. The career center offers career guidance, upper secondary education for adults and facilitation for decentralized vocational school/higher education. The Career Center collaborates on guidance and training services with the employment and business sectors, municipalities and NAV.

About the position:

• Up to 65% permanent position as a program subject teacher in the cleaning operator profession.
• The position is available from 01.08.2026.
• Workplace Career Innlandet Valdres, located at Valdres upper secondary school in Leira.
• You must expect to travel a little to external meetings with partners

Work tasks:

• teaching, supervision and assessment in program subjects within the cleaning operator profession
• supervision of participants in companies through a module-structured curriculum
• assessment of prior learning
• close cooperation with various professional environments and actors in working life
• assist in the daily operation of Karriere Innlandet Valdres

Requirements for qualifications:

• Teaching competence in the cleaning operator profession. Applicants without pedagogical education must complete this within 3 years
• Supervisor competence will be emphasized when assessing applicants.
• Knowledge of the education system and the labor market in Norway
• Good digital skills
• Good oral and written presentation skills
• Long and relevant work experience can in some cases compensate for lack of formal education
• Personal suitability is emphasized
• Driver's license class B
