UngInvest Innlandet is seeking confident and development-oriented employees for 3 positions with different roles based on various fields of expertise.
These positions are central to the development of a newly established UngInvest center in Innlandet and offer a unique opportunity to combine professional work closely with young people with development work in an interdisciplinary learning environment.
The positions involve various roles across different fields of expertise, based on skills and interests.
Fields of expertise:
- 100% Social Work Advisor and Instructor in Health and Child Development
- 100% Instructor – Restaurant/Food Service and Sales/Service
- 100% Teacher – Educational Workshop (Norwegian, Mathematics, and/or English)
About UngInvest Innlandet
UngInvest Innlandet is a county-run, practice-oriented learning program for young people aged 16–24 and part of the UngInvest model. The target group consists of young people who, for a period of time, do not wish to or are not benefiting from regular education.
The goal is to recruit and retain young people in upper secondary education so that more of them qualify for further education and the workforce. Through strength-based dialogues, trusting relationships are built, along with increased mastery and motivation for learning.
As a newly established center, UngInvest Innlandet will be in a phase of development, and thorough training in strength-based methodology will be provided. Together, we create an inclusive and vibrant learning community characterized by the values of trust, well-being, belonging, accessibility, and credibility.
UngInvest Innlandet is organized under the Follow-up Service unit of Innlandet County Municipality.
Job responsibilities – common to all positions:
- practical training within your field of expertise for groups of young people in accordance with UngInvest Innlandet’s job description
- employees are expected to participate in the training alongside the instructors at all workshops as needed
- close and strength-based follow-up of young people, individually and in groups
- planning and implementation of training in line with curriculum objectives
- contributing to comprehensive and interdisciplinary follow-up of young people in collaboration with colleagues
- close follow-up of the young people. This involves genuine engagement of the youth in student conferences, collaboration with home, school, support services, and any internship placements.
- contribute to work related to training, well-being, and support for young people
- participation in the development work at a newly established UngInvest center
- administrative tasks related to follow-up, documentation, and collaboration with external stakeholders
- contribute to all learning arenas at UngInvest as needed and participate in joint activities and projects
For the position of Social Work Advisor and Instructor in Health and Child Development:
- responsibility for guidance, counseling, and milieu therapeutic follow-up on an individual and group basis
- responsibility for planning, organizing, and conducting practical training in the health and child development workshop in accordance with curriculum objectives
- professional and social-pedagogical guidance for staff
For the position of Instructor – Restaurant/Food Services and Sales/Service:
- Responsibility for planning, organizing, and conducting practical training in the workshop for restaurant and food services in accordance with curriculum objectives
- responsibility for planning, organizing, and conducting practical training in line with curriculum objectives for sales and service
- responsibility for operating the cafeteria in collaboration with students
For the position of Teacher in the Educational Workshop:
- Responsibility for planning, organizing, and conducting training in accordance with parts of the upper secondary school curricula, as well as preparing documentation
- closely collaborating with both high schools and middle schools on academic subjects, as well as following up with young people who are taking private candidate exams at various levels
- developing learning environments based on curricula in practical subjects
Qualifications – common to all positions:
- experience working with youth in the target group
- experience collaborating with support services and in interdisciplinary work (NAV, school, health)
- strong administrative and digital skills
- strong interpersonal skills and confidence in guidance and group settings
- ability to work flexibly and in an interdisciplinary manner within a program under development
- Class B driver’s license is required
Requirements for the position of Social Work Advisor and Instructor in Health and Child Development:
- minimum 3 years of social work education at the college/university level
Requirements for the position of Instructor – Restaurant/Food Services and Sales/Service:
- certificate of apprenticeship in restaurant and culinary arts and/or sales and service
- practical skills and relevant experience in kitchen/cafeteria operations may compensate for formal education
Requirements for the position of teacher in the educational workshop:
- teaching degree with teaching qualifications in at least two of the subjects Norwegian/mathematics/English
- it is a significant advantage if you also have a vocational certificate or practical background

- responsible and systematic, with the ability to maintain a good overview of follow-up, collaboration, and documentation
- enjoys varied workdays and contributing to comprehensive follow-up of young people in collaboration with the team
- interest in strength-based methodology and alternative learning environments
