Fagskolen Innlandet is looking for teachers in economics and management subjects in a full-time position from August 1, 2026.

Fagskolen Innlandet is growing rapidly and there is a need to strengthen the academic environment with a new teacher in economics and management subjects. The office is located on the school's campus in Gjøvik. Some travel activity must be expected.

  • has expertise and interest in the subject area
  • has academic breadth and can see the subjects in a larger context
  • has solid and broad experience, preferably also management experience

About the position

  • 100% permanent position available from 01.08.2026

Tasks

  • teaching in economics and management subjects, such as financial management, leadership, marketing, innovation, entrepreneurship and project management
  • responsibility for planning, implementing and evaluating teaching in line with the school's quality system, study plans and activity plans
  • development of new courses and programs
  • collaboration with working life for professional updating and development of best practices
  • contribute to recruitment efforts, network development and development of the subject area
  • participate in improvement and development work in the department and the school

Desired qualifications

  • relevant education at bachelor's or master's level in the aforementioned subject areas
  • practical experience will be emphasized, preferably from industries for which the school educates candidates
  • disciplinary breadth will be emphasized
  • good digital skills are necessary
  • pedagogical education is desirable, but can also be taken after appointment
  • personal suitability will be emphasized
