Gjøvik High School has an opening for a permanent teaching position (up to 84%) in health and child development starting October 12, 2026.

About the Position

  • up to 84% Permanent position starting October 12, 2026—teaching qualifications for the Health Care Assistant program (Upper Secondary Level 2)
  • Teaching in the educational program
  • Start date as soon as possible

Qualification Requirements

  • PPU/vocational teacher training in health and child development, as specified in “About the Position”

Desired Qualifications

  • Teaching certification for upper secondary school; see qualification requirements
  • Teaching certification in other subjects offered by the school may be relevant
  • Competence in the pedagogical use of ICT
  • Teaching experience from upper secondary education
  • Proficiency in various teaching methods and learning environments
  • Ability to differentiate instruction
  • Necessary didactic, relational, and pedagogical skills to meet the needs of all types of students
