Gjøvik High School has an opening for a temporary teaching position (up to 84%) in Health and Child Development, to start as soon as possible.

About the Position

  • Up to 84% temporary position from August 10, 2026, to December 31, 2026 - teaching qualifications for the Health Care Assistant program (upper secondary level 2)
  • teaching within the educational program
  • start date as soon as possible

Qualification Requirements

  • PPU/vocational teacher education in health and child care, as specified in “About the Position”

Desired Qualifications

  • Teaching certification for upper secondary school; see qualification requirements
  • Teaching certification in other subjects offered by the school may be relevant
  • Competence in the pedagogical use of ICT
  • Teaching experience from upper secondary education
  • Proficiency in various teaching methods and learning environments
  • Ability to differentiate instruction
  • Necessary didactic, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills to meet the needs of all types of students
