Gjøvik Upper Secondary School has a vacancy for a student supervisor from August 1, 2026. The position follows the school schedule, is paid in 89%.

About the position

  • temporary position 01.08.2026 - 31.07.2027, the position follows the school schedule
  • 100 % position, paid in 89 % (due to the school schedule)

Work tasks

  • work with students who have extra needs for follow-up and support in the department for adapted education
  • tasks related to working with multifunctional disabled people, also possible care
  • students can also be placed in companies, and the student supervisor is responsible for following up students at various employers

Qualification requirements

  • relevant experience, preferably from working with children and young people / upper secondary school
  • professional certificate, various professional certificates may be relevant within the tasks of the position (e.g. health worker, child and youth worker)

Desired qualifications

  • the school is looking for a student assistant/pupil supervisor who can be a clear adult who sets clear frameworks and goals for the school day
  • it is desirable that applicants have experience of working with people
  • experience with AAC (alternative and augmentative communication)
