Gjøvik Upper Secondary School has vacancies for up to 100% temporary teaching positions in History and English from August 1, 2026 for the school year 2026/2027.

About the position

  • up to 100% temporary position in History and English from 01.08.2026

Tasks

  • teaching in relevant subjects, both in preparatory and vocational education programs
  • the positions may be added contact teacher responsibility

Qualification requirements

  • teaching competence in one or more of the following subjects in upper secondary education: History and English

Desired qualifications

  • teaching competence in upper secondary education according to qualification requirements
  • teaching competence in other subjects offered by the school may be relevant
  • PPU
  • competence in pedagogical use of ICT
  • teaching experience from upper secondary education
  • master different methods and training arenas
  • ability to differentiate teaching
  • necessary didactic, relational and pedagogical competence to meet all types of students
