Hadeland Upper Secondary School has a vacancy for a 100% permanent position as a counselor/environmental counselor in the Student Service from 01.08.26

About the position

  • 100% permanent position available from 01.08.2026
  • The place of work is Hadeland Upper Secondary School in the Pupil Services department
  • The person appointed to the position will be placed in a position code depending on the requirements for the position, education and experience. legal and contractual requirements

Tasks

  • be part of the school's follow-up system for students - IKO
  • follow-up of students with individually tailored education (ITO)
  • do preventive work at group and class level
  • daily environmental work for about 50% of the school day, in periods more
  • support students in practical training in companies
  • work with the student's psychosocial learning environment at system and individual level, including examination and follow-up of Chapter 12- and Chapter 12-related issues.12-cases
  • working with and guiding pupils, parents and staff
  • working with various external agencies such as PPT, BUP, child protection and police
  • contribute to various social activities at the school
  • other tasks can be added to the position as needed

Qualification requirements

  • education at a minimum of bachelor's level
  • formal social pedagogical competence and/or special educational competence

Desired qualifications

    • Education at a minimum of bachelor'slevel with pedagogy/special education in the subject area
    • experience with relevant case management and documentation work
    • experience with mapping and investigation work
    • good communication skills both orally and in writing and the ability to communicate well with people of different ages and with different backgrounds
    • personal suitability is given great weight, including the ability to build safe relationships, be a safe adult in a school environment and be able to complement the school's student service with their expertise
