Hadeland Upper Secondary School has a vacancy for a 100% permanent position as a subject teacher in sports and physical education from 01.08.26

About the position

  • 100 % permanent position as subject teacher in sports science/physical education from 01.08.2026
  • the person appointed to the position will be placed in a position code depending on education and experience, cf. laws and agreements
  • the unit is based in Gran

Tasks

  • teaching in the program subjects for sports and physical education in preparatory and vocational education programs.
  • participation in varied activities both inside and outside the school throughout the school year.
  • collaboration in professional communities both in subject teams and across educational programs.
  • development work and other tasks that naturally fall to a teaching position.

Qualification requirements

  • master's degree or equivalent in sports science/physical education
  • preferably with practical sports experience

Desired qualifications

  • teaching expertise preferably at master's level in sports science and/or physical education.
  • sports science education with practical-pedagogical education (PPU) or equivalent.
  • good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • didactic and pedagogical competence to meet a diversity of students.
  • experience and background from working with sports and training that can complement the department's existing expertise.
