Hadeland Upper Secondary School has a need for a student counselor in program subjects in technology and industrial subjects

We are looking for a student counselor who is passionate about supporting young people in their professional and personal development, and who wants to contribute to a safe and motivating learning environment

The department of technology and industrial subjects has two classes in vg1 TIF, a class vg2 vehicles and a class vg2 industrial technology (PIN)

About the position

• 100% permanent position as pupil counselor
• the position has a 37.5-hour working week and follows the school year. This corresponds to a salary percentage of 89% of a full-time position

Tasks

• Supervise and support students with special needs - academically, socially and practically
• contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment
• collaborate with teachers and counselors to ensure holistic education
• participate actively in the school's professional environment and joint activities
• supervise and follow up students in the workshop, classroom and in practice

Qualification requirements

• professional certificate in industrial subjects, automotive
• personal suitability will be emphasized

• have good collaboration skills
• educational experience or experience of working with young people is an advantage
