Hadeland Upper Secondary School has vacant permanent teaching positions in restaurant and food subjects. Total need is up to 125% from 01.08.2026

About the position

  • permanent positions as subject teacher in restaurant and food science. Total need is up to 125%
  • those appointed to the positions will be placed in a position code depending on education and experience, cf. legislation and agreements

Tasks

  • Teaching students in program subjects in the department of restaurant and food subjects
  • other tasks that naturally belong. Such as, for example, contact teacher etc

Qualification requirements

  • professional certificate
  • professional teacher / PPU
    Applicants without full pedagogical competence can be appointed on conditions with a requirement to complete PPU-Y/YFL within a further agreed period
  • practice from the subject area
  • personal suitability will be given great weight, including the ability to build safe relationships, exercising clear classroom management and contributing constructively in the professional community

Desired qualifications

  • it is desirable that the applicant has varied work experience from the restaurant and food industry
  • experience or interest in special education
  • is a confident and clear adult who sets the framework and structure for the students
  • have good collaboration skills
