Hadeland Upper Secondary School has a vacancy for a Head of Department with responsibility for timetabling

About the position

  • head of department in 100% position, with main responsibility for lesson planning
  • personnel responsibility for department, per 05.08.26 for science subjects. Other subject areas can also be considered based on educational programs
  • the head of department is part of the school's management team and has the principal as immediate manager

Tasks

  • strategic and educational development work
  • schedule work, annual planning and follow-up of the timetable
  • daily operations and follow-up of departments
  • personnel and financial responsibility for departments
  • administrative tasks in InSchool
  • teaching may be added to the position as needed

Qualification requirements

  • relevant university or college education
  • education in educational management/principal education, preferably at master's level
  • leadership education and/or leadership experience
  • interest in lesson planning
  • preferably experience from upper secondary school and the use of school administrative systems
  • practical pedagogical education (PPU) or equivalent
  • good communication skills, both oral and written
