About the unit

The Career Center is part of Career Innlandet and Innlandet County Council's focus on adult learning and career guidance. The career center's tasks include career and study guidance, upper secondary education for adults, and facilitating decentralized vocational school/higher education. The Career Center collaborates on guidance and training services with the employment and business sectors, municipalities and NAV. The aim is to make the offers and opportunities more accessible to the region's inhabitants.

About the position

  • Up to 100% position as practice coordinator, from 01.08.26 - 31.07.27.
  • The project position will have several tasks.
  • Depending on competence, the position can be combined with supervision and teaching, preferably one or more of the following subjects; Norwegian, mathematics, science and English.
  • Start date by appointment.
  • You will be employed by Innlandet County Council with a place of work at Karriere Innlandet Gudbrandsdal.
  • The person appointed to the position will be placed in a position code depending on the requirements for the position, education and experience, cf. legislation and agreements.
  • You must expect to travel.

Tasks

  • The aim of the project position is to further develop cooperation with working life so that adult immigrants have access to language practice and training arenas in modular-structured training.
  • The practice coordinator will work with the recruitment of companies/language practice places and guide the company and the participant in how to facilitate reinforced training in Norwegian in the workplace.
  • Further develop cooperation with working life and act as a link between the career center, participants and workplaces.
  • Collaborate with Nav and other key cooperation actors.
  • Collaborate closely with the project group and other internship coordinators in Karriere Innlandet.
  • Administrative tasks, incl. case management, documentation and use of Innlandet County Council's systems, including InSchool.
  • Other tasks must be calculated, depending on the needs of the career center. For example, teaching one or more of the following subjects: Norwegian, mathematics, science and English.

Qualification requirements

  • Higher relevant education, guidance skills are preferred
  • Knowledge of upper secondary education for adults
  • Good digital skills
  • Driver's license class B
  • Long and relevant work experience can in some cases be compensated for lack of formal education

  • Experience from guidance work in vocational education
