About Career Innlandet Nord-Østerdal

The Career Center is part of the Unit for Adult Learning and Innlandet County Council's commitment to career guidance and training for adults. The Career Center is currently being established and its main tasks include career and study guidance and upper secondary education for adults.

The Career Center collaborates on guidance and training services with the employment and business sector, municipalities and NAV. The aim is to make the offers and opportunities more accessible to the region's inhabitants.

About the position

• 70% permanent position as a program subject teacher within the Child and Youth Worker profession, as well as Norwegian for vocational subjects and preparatory subjects.
• The position is available for immediate start
• Workplace Career Innlandet Nord-Østerdal, located at Nord-Østerdal upper secondary school in Tynset.
• Since part of the position will be follow-up of participants in companies, some travel must be expected.

Tasks

• teaching in program subjects within the child and youth worker profession.
• follow-up of participants with training in companies.
• close cooperation with various professional environments and actors in working life.
• continuous professional updating

• assist in prior learning assessment in the center and in companies
• assist in the daily operation of the career center Nord-Østerdal

Requirements for qualifications

• have relevant 3year education from college/university within pedagogical education - Applicants without pedagogical education must complete this within 3 years

• knowledge of the education system and the labor market in Norway
• good digital skills knowledge of study administration tools such as Visma InSchool
• good oral and written presentation skills
• long and relevant work experience can in some cases compensate for lack of formal education
• Knowledge of upper secondary education and Karriere Innlandet
• Personal suitability is emphasized
• Driver's license class B
