Lena-Valle High School has an opening for a part-time (up to 40%) teaching position in physical education, starting October 1, 2026

About the Position

• up to 40% temporary position from Oct. 1, 2026 (or earlier) through July 31, 2027
• Work location: Lena-Valle, etc.
• The position will primarily consist of teaching physical education in academic and vocational education programs

Job Responsibilities

• Teaching physical education as a core subject
• Additional substitute teaching sessions throughout the year as needed. Substitute teaching may involve teaching sports and physical education
• Contribute to the school’s development efforts

Qualifications

• Relevant education, including at least a 3-year college degree
• Completed PPU training
• Relevant and broad professional expertise from other educational backgrounds may be considered
• Understanding of and ability to use information technology as a work tool
• Relevant teaching experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong collaboration skills, with both students and colleagues
