Lillehammer High School, North Campus, has a 55% permanent teaching position available in Building and Construction Technology, starting August 1, 2026

About the Position

  • up to a 55% permanent teaching position with opportunities in both VG1 Building and Construction Technology and VG2 Carpentry, available starting August 1, 2026

Job Responsibilities

  • Teaching in the VG1 Building and Construction Technology and VG2 Carpentry programs

Qualification Requirements

  • Joint Vocational Certificate as a carpenter
  • Vocational Teacher Education (candidates without YFL are encouraged to apply)
  • Class B driver’s license

Desired Qualifications

  • solid and diverse professional experience in the building and construction industry
  • teaching experience at the upper secondary school level
  • experience with digital drafting
  • experience with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in various teaching methods and learning environments
  • Ability to differentiate instruction
  • Interpersonal and pedagogical skills to engage with all types of students
  • A Class D1 minibus driver’s license is desirable
