About the position

  • 35% permanent position available from 01.08.2026
  • Position as environmental worker in the adapted department at Lillehammer Upper Secondary School dept. North
  • facilitation and relationship building are an important part of the academic offer to the students and are linked to academic and social content
  • guidance, care and supervision of students will be a big part of the working day
  • you will experience having skilled, committed colleagues around you who work in teams
  • you will mainly have your working relationship associated with the facilitated department, but may also have to follow up student needs in ordinary classes

Work tasks

  • take active responsibility and initiative to ensure that tasks at the department are taken care of, as well as contribute to the achievement of high-quality results
  • implement measures, provide personal assistance and facilitate students
  • contribute to students' social, emotional and intellectual development
  • care for and supervise students during the school day
  • collaborate with teachers in designing students' IOPs and writing reports
  • plan, plan, organize and lead activities in collaboration with the special needs teacher
  • inspire and actively contribute to a good learning and working environment in the group and at the school in general

Desired qualifications

  • professional certificate as a child and youth worker or 3year approved relevant college education is desirable
  • desirable with pedagogical professional experience and / or experience from care-related work
  • personal qualities will be emphasized
