Lillehammer videregående skole, avd. Nord has a vacancy for a 100% temporary teaching position in automation, electrical and technology and industrial subjects from August 1, 2026. August 2026

About the position

• 100 % temporary teaching position in automation/electrical and technology and industrial subjects, with the possibility of a permanent position
• start date 1. August 2026
• The person appointed to the position will be placed in a position code depending on the requirements for the position, education and experience, cf. The unit is based in Lillehammer, but we can offer various forms of flexibility for those with the right skills

Tasks

• responsibility for planning and implementing teaching
• follow-up of students, both academically, pedagogical and social
• follow-up of students in practice
• contribute to students getting an apprenticeship contract
• collaboration and development work, both in subject teams and at the school as a whole
• contact teacher responsibility may be added to the position
• subject development both individually and in collaboration with colleagues

Desired qualifications

• professional certificate in one of the disciplines automation/electrical and mechanical, Primarily automation, but other certificates in electrical are encouraged to apply
• technical vocational school is an advantage
• formal educational education such as vocational teacher education or equivalent, or willingness to undertake this
• good digital skills
• development-oriented person who wants to influence the school's technology and digital use
• good and updated knowledge of HSE, quality and documentation
