Inland Norway County Council has a vacancy for a 100% permanent position as safety advisor. The position is located in the Quality, Safety and Emergency Preparedness Section. The safety advisor will contribute to good preventive safety and emergency preparedness work in Innlandet County Council. The position is available immediately.

About the section
The section for quality, safety and emergency preparedness currently has five employees. The section takes care of the work with internal control, safety and emergency preparedness throughout the business as part of the county's corporate governance. We work at a strategic, tactical and operational level and assist the business in building a systematic approach to quality work, risk and safety management and emergency and incident management. The section takes care of day-to-day security management. We also work actively with societal security in collaboration with the rest of the company and external actors at national, regional and local levels.

Tasks

• Assist in the safety management of the company
• Assist in the authorization work
• Develop and maintain procedures, procedures and guidance material within preventive security work
• Plan and implement competence development measures within preventive security
• Conduct risk and vulnerability analyses and contribute to the company's risk management
• Contribute to the analysis of threat assessments
• Contribute to the development and implementation of contingency plans, exercises and evaluation

Qualification requirements

• Relevant college or university education at a minimum of bachelor's level in security or other relevant disciplines
• Minimum two years of experience with security work in a large company
• Experience with comprehensive security (personnel, physical and digital security)
• Experience with personnel security work
• Good knowledge of security legislation and basic principles of security management
• Knowledge of risk management
• Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian

Personal qualities will be emphasized.

Desired qualifications

• Desirable with education at master's level in the mentioned disciplines
• Knowledge of ISO standards in security and risk management, series 9000, 27000 and 31000.
• Experience from the public sector
• Experience with emergency work
