Sentrum Upper Secondary School has from 1 August a vacancy as a program subject teacher in a 30% teaching position in Building and Construction Technology in the school year 26/27.
As a teacher in Building and Construction Technology, you will share your experience and professional expertise with the workforce of the future. We are therefore looking for a committed and practice-oriented teacher who wants to make a difference for the students.
We are looking for someone who has
- professional certificate and work experience as a plumber or other relevant professional certificate in Building and Construction, and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience
- teaching skills in the program subjects for vg 2 carpentry/pipe, but this is not a requirement
- pedagogical education, but this is not a requirement
- the ability to build good relationships with the students and at the same time be a clear class leader
- the ability to see the individual student's needs and adapt the teaching to these
- focus on health, safety and environment
- good collaboration skills and ability to work interdisciplinary
- good communication skills, oral and written
- good digital skills
- want to help create the skilled workers of the future
- connect easily, and have the ability to motivate young people
- are solution-oriented

Tasks
- teaching and interdisciplinary work in the program subjects in plumbing and and carpentry
- cooperate in the planning and implementation of teaching with colleagues
- facilitate teaching in line with the students' needs
- follow up the individual student's professional development
- participate in teacher collaboration and educational development work
Qualification requirements

- driver's license class B
