Sentrum Upper Secondary School has from 1 August a vacancy as a program subject teacher in a 30% teaching position in Building and Construction Technology in the school year 26/27.

As a teacher in Building and Construction Technology, you will share your experience and professional expertise with the workforce of the future. We are therefore looking for a committed and practice-oriented teacher who wants to make a difference for the students.

We are looking for someone who has

• professional certificate and work experience as a plumber or other relevant professional certificate in Building and Construction, and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience
• teaching skills in the program subjects for vg 2 carpentry/pipe, but this is not a requirement
• pedagogical education, but this is not a requirement
• the ability to build good relationships with the students and at the same time be a clear class leader
• the ability to see the individual student's needs and adapt the teaching to these
• focus on health, safety and environment
• good collaboration skills and ability to work interdisciplinary
• good communication skills, oral and written
• good digital skills
• want to help create the skilled workers of the future
• connect easily, and have the ability to motivate young people
• are solution-oriented

Tasks

• teaching and interdisciplinary work in the program subjects in plumbing and and carpentry
• cooperate in the planning and implementation of teaching with colleagues
• facilitate teaching in line with the students' needs
• follow up the individual student's professional development
• participate in teacher collaboration and educational development work

Qualification requirements
